A.R Rahman, had set up an full-fledged orchestra called Global Music. The Mozrat of the south announced the orchestra along with the launch of his KM conservatory, which is the school for professional musicians.
The orchestra will be of professional musicians from both India and abroad. The composer felt the need to setup this orchestra because there is no full fledged orchestra in India and when ever he has to compose music for orchestra he has to go to London or Budapest. The orchestra, to be fully operational in the next two years, will have both Indian as well as Western.

The symphony orchestra will be in the western mode, both as a resident studio orchestra to perform his own composition for the music industry and for the people in Chennai and elsewhere in India.It is a pity that we don’t have a symphony orchestra at home. Rehmans and Ilayarajas are compelled to go abroad to create orchestras of high quality. Lets hope AR Rahman’s Global Music is a trend setter in this.

Kirath has replaced Padmapriya as heroine in the movie Durai. Durai is to be directed by A.Venkatesh and produced by P.L Thenappan. Kirath was earlier seen in movie Vattaram directed by Saran.The reason of the replacement is said to be Padmapriya’s dislike for the clothes given to her. She wanted to get a fashion designer on her own at the expense of the production company, to which producer P.L Thenappan did not agree. He later complained to the producers council and replaced her with Kirath. Arjun also felt that Kirath is will be better able to provide a better glamour quotient for the film than Padmapriya.

Arjun joins hands with his favourite comedy partner Vadivel for this movie. D. Imman is the music director and the composer is planning to remix one of the super hit songs of Maestro Illayaraaja “Raaja Raajathi Rajanintha Raaja” (From Agni Nakshathiram) for this film.

Giving quality movies for his fans is the reason he is seen in just one or two movies per year, says actor Surya.
Discussing about his upcomming movie Vaaranam Ayiram Surya adds that he will be seen in varied roles in the movie from the character of a College guy to that on a Military person. This movie directed by Gautham Menon will be more talked about than Khaka Khaka.

The movie has a right mix of romance and action.After Ghajini only two of his movies hit the screen. The only reason is because the actor would like to treat his fans with good character and a different story. He needs to see something different in his character for him to sign the movie. After Vaaranam Ayiram actor Surya will be seen in the direction of K.V Anand. The actor will .also be seen in another movie under Murugadoss direction.

Actress Flora who was seen in movies like Gajendra, Kusthi and Sorry, Enaku Kalyanam Aayiduchu was arrested in connection with giving false information and trying to take a women to the US on false pretext. The actress is also known as Asha Saini in Tollywood.

The case is about Flora trying to take a women called Srilatha on the pretext that she was her make-up assitant. But on the enquiry by the Consulate officers it has come to light that Srilatha was not Flora’s makeup assistant but travel agent Venkat Reddy had taken Rs 3 Lakh from Srilatha and promised her to visa to US where she was to search for a job.

The agent Venkat Reddy has declared in the documents that Srilatha was Flora’s make-up assistant and also provided photos of srilatha doing makeup work on Flora. He also had said that they were going for the shoot of a Telugu film in the US. However, the consulate authorities on cross examining Srilatha found that thee documents to be forged and notified the police. They have handed over Flora, Srilatha and Venkat Reddy to the Royapettah police. Srilatha was supposed to go to the US with Flora, Flora would return back after sometime and Srilatha would remain there and search a Job. She was also supposed to go to Canada if she was unable to find work in the USA.
